Not that writing here really is much of an effort anyway... But I guess I will try to make it a bit more interressting for my 2-two readers ;-) (that's how many I think is reading my blog...)
So for starters. I got a new GADGET! Yeah! I needed (ehm..) I wanted a new mp3 player, and I didn't really want an ipoop.. but my old one was getting old... I have had it since 2005.. WOW thats a loong time in mp3 years. So after xmas I got down to it. I ended up with a Cowon s9 16GB with DAB radio and DMB (mini tv). I don't think the tv thing works in Drammen, but I guess that it may in time :-) so we'll see. I got it today and am charging it now :-) soooo exited :-)
You can see a pic of it here (it's under mp3 players)
AND I have my new year stuff too.... I need to be more active and I truly hope thet I will make it...
AND I have started on my Bunad again, I have had it on hold because the motivation wheren't quite there. But now it is and the speed is on :-)
So yihaa everybody.
Adding a pic from the park here it was so beautiful in the snow :-)

I got 3 channels :-) NRK 1 TV2 and tv3 :-) hehe
I just found you by doing a Google search for 'bunad' and 'blog'. My grandmother was born in Arendal and she made several bunads for my sisters and me while we were young. I'd like to make one of the Hardanger ones for myself. Do you know of any patterns available? I learned how to do Hardanger embroidery on a visit to Norway back in 1991, so I'm pretty sure I could make the apron and shirt cuffs and collar. Any help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated!
Good luck with the bundad, lovely photo, congrats on mp3 player! :-)
Hi, I would like to help you if I can. I bought the patterns and material for my bunad here http://www.heimen.net/Bunad.cfm?CatID=17 I don't know if you can get patterns for free though cause they are pattented (i guess if you've bought one once you have the patterns for later... ) The Hardanger bunad is really beautiful, you should know there is a winter and a summer edition of that bunad.. I think the winter one is equally beautiful. I had a picture somewhere...
But if you ever need help with the hardanger emboidery just ask, I have a lot of experience with that.
thx :-)
